Tournament Report:

 

A.                 February Tournament –
The February 2010 Tournament was held as scheduled at Lake Amistad, 2/27&2/8. There were a total of 15 participants, no quests. Saturday was a beautiful day on the lake with temperatures near 70 degrees and calm winds. That changed for Sunday when the winds were forecasted for 20-30 mph and I’m sure that all could attest the weatherman was accurate, if not even somewhat conservative.  The Tina and Ira evidently found the “honey hole” early and rumors are the boated there stringers before 9:30 AM for the tournament win and big bass.

C.                 March 2010 Tournament - The March 2010 tournament is a two-day tournament scheduled for the March 13 & 14th at O.H Ivie..  Fishing times are safe light to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, and safe light to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.  Weigh in both days will be at Kennedy Recreation Center and lodging at Elm Creek Village.

 

February Meeting and Annual Tournament Banquet

 

The meeting and banquet were held in a “private” room at Rudy’s BBQ in Del Rio.  All participants in the February tournament attended.

 

A.                 The January minutes were approved by majority vote.

B.                 First day leaders discussed there success;
Troy and Janet were using Baby Brush Hogs on secondary points; Don Richards was pitching the same bait into submerged trees in the coves.

C.                 First  Day Bubba Bass nominees were;

D.                Thank you to Troy Zipperer for sending the scales for calibration and warranty.
