Called to order at 7:45 pm

New Business –

1. Election of 2010 Officers

a. President – Don Richards

b. Vice President – Troy Lynn

c. Secretary – Denny Rosenfeld

d. Treasurer – DW Albrecht

e. Sergeant at Arms – Greg Snell

f. Tournament Director – Troy Zipperer

g. Historian – James McCarty

2. Metro – The club will be a member of Metro and decide at a later time whether to attend the City Tournament next year.

3. Club Web Page – The membership would like the website to be updated throughout the year with club events, standings, minutes, tournament schedules, etc. Several members offered to help James with this matter.

4. December Tournament – Fayette

a. Hotel accommodations have not been made at this time.

b. The weigh in will be an “honor system”. Members will weight their own fish on the water and record weights on a slip of paper.

c. This is a 3 fish limit.

d. Don Richards emailed the game warden with a few questions. Don will get back with the club as soon as the game warden responds.

5. Fishing Times – It was brought up to extend the fishing times on Saturday for next year’s tournaments. This was tabled to be addressed at a later time. Some suggestions included:

a. Extend the fishing hours to a later time with one weigh-in.

b. Have a split tournament with two weigh-in times.

6. Treasury Report – As of September 30, 2009 there is $656.41 in the treasury.

7. 2010 Roster – Please send your contact information to Denny Rosenfeld for an updated roster. If there are no changes, let him know your information is current.

8. Mystery Tournament – Some suggestions to think about for next year:

a. The mystery tournament will not be included in the standings. Troy and Janet Zipperer volunteered to set up this tournament.

b. Instead of a mystery tournament, have a family fishing event.

9. 2010 Membership Dues – Please submit your $30 membership dues to DW Albrecht at the January tournament.

10. Motion to change the rules regarding tournament pay-outs. A motion was made to eliminate pay outs for tournaments and keep the money for club events. This is an ongoing discussion.

11. Charity Tournament/Club Fundraiser – Members are requested to consider a possible to charity to sponsor. This is an ongoing discussion.
