Freedom Bass Club Monthly Minutes

Tournament Report:

  1. February Tournament - The February tournament was held on February 28 and March 1, 2009 at Amistad Lake.  On Saturday, the winds blew approximately 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour.  The winds subsided on Sunday, but the wind that did blow made it extremely cold on Sunday morning. The outcome of the tournament is as follows:

1.      Steve Bell – 14.16

2.      Denny Rosenfeld – 10.04

3.      Gary Gold – 7.41

4.      Butch Drake – 5.77

5.      Don Albrecht  -  5.08

6.      Don Richards  -  4.3

Big Bass – Steve Bell  3.15

  1. Tournament
    1. The March tournament is a two day tournament at Falcon.  The dates are March 14 and March 15, 2009. 

 

New Business:

  1. Caps and Shirts
    1. Don Albrecht will be placing an order for hats with Edie Goll. 
    2. If anyone wants shirts embroidered (at your cost), make arrangements to get them to Don and he will take them to Ms. Goll.

Old Business:

  1. 2008 Award Banquet

a.   The plan is to hold the 2008 club banquet at the Falcon Lake tournament in March, weather permitting.

  1. City Tournament
    1. City Tournament is set for October 3rd and 4th with the lake still currently undecided.  Metro is waiting for the best offer.  It will be between Falcon and Amistad. 

Bubba Bass

      a.   There were no nominations for Bubba Bass for February.
