1. Members met and discussed:
a. Freedom Tournament Changes
i. September 13 &14 – Amistad
1. Saturday – 1 day club tournament; 3 fish limit
2. Sunday is a jackpot tournament. Don Richards will e-mail the club with the clarifications of the rules for the jackpot tournament.

November 15 & 16 – moved from
1. block of rooms at Sun Bridge Hotel
b. Epilepsy Charity Tournament
i. Freedom will host another tournament next year. Items to change/make better for next tournament:
1. location
2. time (possibly fall instead of summer)
3. pay-out
4. publicity/advertisement of tournament
c. Freedom Web Page
i. James McCarty has not been paid for the amount it costs to run the web page. He donated the cost of the website to the club.
d. City Tournament
i. October 11 & 12 – Amistad
ii. Freedom Bass Club will recognize Heavy 3 Fish Stringer as a division.
iii. Metro has asked that each club send in one check for all of its members’ entry fees ASAP. Please e-mail Troy Zipperer and Ashley if you plan to attend City.
iv. No fees will be reimbursed if you decide not to go to city.
v. If you enter the tournament the night before, they will only accept cash.
vi. Freedom Bass Club is donating a $75 gift certificate to Sportsman’s for the door prize.
vii. Will Freedom pay the basic entry fee for its members? To be discussed at the August tournament.
